Weight Loss

I have really been trying to lose the pregnancy weight, and I guess most would say I have had great success, but it is not the success I thought I would have.

At the end of my pregnancy, I was only 5 lbs. heavier than before I got pregnant. Yesterday, I weighed myself on the wii fit and weighed in at 21.5 lbs. less than when I got pregnant. However, today, I weighed again and I am up to 6 lbs.. Is that even possible?

I am thinking that because I weighed myself first thing in the AM today, the baby had not eaten very much and maybe because I was full to capacity of milk, I weighed more???? Yikes I hope so!

I have lost all patience..

Not that I have many to begin with... I am half Italian. I know she is not due for another week, but I have already tried doing all of those "Labor Inducing" tricks. We walk like crazy with the boys, eat eggplant, zucchini, even labor cookies. I have had spicy Mexican food and spicy salsa. Nothing.

We are just so ready for our outside baby girl. My belly is ginourmous, I can no longer sleep, I have LOST my appetite and I cant really take it much longer. If this baby is late, she is in so much trouble!

Captain, My Captain

One of upsides of not being pregnant yet? I can drink when I want to. Captain Morgan is my weakness and it can make any day better in about two shots.

Every year since I was about fifteen, my father takes a day off from work and he and I hit the malls running. It is our special "Daddy/Daughter" time and I cherish it. It is our yearly Christmas shopping trip. We start off early, hit Starbucks for some Peppermint Mocha Lattes and then it is off to the mini malls and then the big mall. We always do lunch at Michael's Deli. We even eat the same wraps for cryin out loud. Top it off for dinner with President Margaritas (tequila is my other weakness) and nachos at Chili's.

Today, we pretty much decided that we can not afford for me to fly up for my shopping trip with Dad. I am heartbroken. For me, the Christmas season does not even start until that trip. Plus, none of the stores I usually shop in are down here. My Dad won't let on, but I know he is hurt.

I am mixing a triple. TRIPLE. Captain & Diet Coke with lime. Captain, my captain, how you can put a smile on my face!
