Happy Halloweeeenniiieee

Happy Halloween blog and blog readers. It was a great day. The first time I got to hand out candy in my very first home. We did not get a terrible amount of Trick or Treaters, but we got enough for me to feel accomplished!

Bug and I made little treats for the kids. Instead of just handing out the candy, we put a few pieces inside a napkin and made little ghosts out of them. Can you tell I am unemployed?

We topped off the evening by watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and Halloween, the Rob Zombie version. Halloween scared the heck out of me. I barely watched it. DH gave me a play by play. However, The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favorite movies. It is so great. I was Sally one year for Halloween and my ex was Jack. It is such a great movie.

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. On to the next holiday-Thanksgiving!!

Claude

Claude is a blue beta that Bug and I bought right before our wedding. He was purchased at pet smart a the week before our wedding. He was an aggressive little bugger, so I named him Claude, after a surly man at Bug's previous job. He lived in a glass vase for the week leading up to our wedding.

On the day of our wedding, he was placed in a hurricane vase. On the bottom of the vase was beautiful sea glass and sea shells. It was a happy little environment for Claude. He made an appearance on our special day as the centerpiece of our Candy Buffet. He is in the back behind the buckets of candy, chillin at the top of the Vase. Too cute!

The night of the wedding, Bug's Mom & Dad took him back to their room and then he went back to NY while we are on our Honeymoon. When we moved to North Carolina, he was put in a tupperware container and sat up front with me for the move. He now sits in our hallway, greeting everyone that comes in and out of our home.

Gotta luv a little guy who costs next to nothing to have and swims to the surface to greet you every morning as you feed him!!

Morphology

There is a website (Here) where you can put two peoples faces on-line and they will morph them together. One of the things you can do with it is see what a baby will look like from two pictures. Oh yes, of course I did it! Here it is: Me and Bug's Phantom Babe.

Baby of m.JPG and D.JPG

Ugh, is that not the cutest baby you have ever seen. Damn we are so good looking. It is all due to my devilishly handsome hubby! That is one round lil face which comes from both of us.

Jease, this is why I need a job. I am baby fevering it like no one would ever believe.

At least I haven't started buying baby items for the lack of baby in my ute. I truly know many people that shop sales even though they are not even KU yet. Hehehe, but I don't blame them, the clothes are so damn cute!

Sundays

Today, DH and I slept in. I made breakfast sandwiches while he went and got the Charlotte Observer and the Mooresville Times. We ate breakfast, read the paper and curled up again to watch the race and football. The same routine we have had every Sunday for as long as I can remember. What is different you ask?

WERE TRYIN' TO HAVE A BAAAAYYYYBBBYYYY!

Hehe, ok. So that was our morning. We are high off of the idea that there is a chance sometime down the road, in the near future, we could be preggers. Our love has seemed to change. We seem more lovey dovey (if that is possible). Our regular demeanor towards each other is lovey enough to make an innocent bystander want to vom. NOW it is even worse..haha. We are more snugly and huggy than ever and I am eating it up. This is just a day after we decided to ttc, imagine what it will be like as we progress. I <3 us.

To continue the day, we will carve pumpkins and eat dinner in the living room in front of the tube. We only do this on Sundays because we are watching football. Our dinners on Sundays usually consist of a smorgasbord of leftovers and sporty food or I will make something super tasty yet easy. Tonight is a combo of the two. We are having left over spaghetti and I am also making loose chop meat & mashed potatoes. Yum!

This is how our Sundays at home will continue to occur. Until the invasion of a little one that is. Then all bets are off!
